I make a terrible patient. I ask a ton of questions, I check myriads of connections, and I’m fixated on finding the root cause – a behavior that tends to drive nuts many clinicians. I do the same for my patients, however.

I was used to reading about a few side effect reports here and there and then wait decades to have enough cases to draw a conclusion. Facebook is different: I encounter dozens of reports every day as I get online. If I ask for clarification the reply comes right away with plenty of details and often pictures too!
